This week I began my very first trip abroad. I am traveling with my daughter who got to show me Prague; she’d been there for two weeks. We walked all over and I have some observations I’ll share in a later post , right now I’m writing on the fly. But most exciting for me has been realizing my fears that my body couldn’t keep up with my desire to see things were unfounded. A new titanium hip, 70 pounds lighter and some time in the gym has prepared me better than I hoped. We are now exploring Amsterdam, watching cyclists and pedestrians vie for road space — cyclists have right of way. ding ding
